1. Introduction
Many ministry leaders and lay Christians don't know how to act or react to fellow believers when they learn of their sins. In this lecture Dennis Kizziar explains why it is critical to have a biblical understanding of church discipline and restoration if we want to help those who have fallen, been broken, and want to be restored. 3. Fallen. The Unholy Trinity.
Daily a great number of prominent Christian leaders fall into grievous sin that will become public knowledge. No one knows how many church members also fall into sin each month. Why do they do it? Many Christians are unthinkably horrified when a real sinner is suddenly discovered among the righteous. But the fact is that we are all sinners. In this section of the lecture Dennis Kizziar talks specifically about our sin nature and the anatomy of a fall. The old sin nature can erupt in a variety of ways. There can be either a manifestation of the sins of the flesh or the sins of the spirit. 5. Broken. What is Brokenness?
What is brokenness? It involves death to: our reputations, our agendas, our pride, our self-protection. We also are broken when we reflect on the unintended consequences of our sin. In this section of the lecture Dennis Kizziar talks about different factors of brokenness. - 6
6. Broken. What Steps To Take?
What broken believers who demonstrate their desire to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and experience inner healing should do? In this section of his lecture Dennis Kizziar shares the biblical principles that can lead to restoration. They should not be interpreted as mechanical steps that should be laboriously worked through one at a time. The work of the Holy Spirit and the path to restoration is unique in each individual's life but biblical guidelines are very helpful to those who want to begin their journey to restoration. - 7

In this section of his lecture Dennis Kizziar shares his experience of a pastor when he was introduced to the world of church discipline. He gives answers to some of the most significant questions that surface whenever the subject of self-discipline arises. Where do you start? What sins should be disciplined? When should it take place? 8. Biblical Church Discipline. What is the Process?
The biblical foundation for implementing church discipline rests in Jesus' words to His disciples in the Gospel of Matthew. In this section of the lecture 'Biblical Church Discipline' Dennis Kizziar looks at the teaching of Matthew 18:15-17 and shares four steps that Jesus outlined while talking to the disciples about grace and forgiveness. God has made it clear in His Word how restoration and rebuilding should take place. When we follow these clear and comprehensive guidelines in dealing with a fallen brother or sister, much damage will be averted. In this section of the lecture 'Restored' Dennis Kizziar makes clear what is meant by restoration and focuses his attention on what Paul says in Galatians 6:1-2 about helping fallen and broken believers. - 11

Those desiring to be restored are vulnerable and emotionally fragile. They need to be approached in the most sensitive and kind way possible. In this section of the lecture 'Restored' you will learn how Jeff Leeland who discovered the superabundant grace of God after being taken down by pride and alcohol. His church didn't offer any grace-filled restoration process but a small group of men helped him to find hope in the love and power of Christ. Dennis Kizziar had the privilege to participate in his journey toward restoration. He shares his experience and joy.
